Changing the theme of GRUB on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

1comments

Grub is a menu containing a list of our installed OS. Grub by default display only black and white is usually a definite lack of interest to us. In this tutorial I will share the theme of how to alter grub on the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

This tutorial:

1. Open Terminal, then add this repository:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bean123ch/burg

2. Then update the list of index repositories and install burg by typing the following command :
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install burg burg-themes

3. Then, Install burg to the Master Boot Record Hard Drive, with the following command :
sudo burg-install "(hd0)"

4. Finally, update burg, type this:
sudo update-burg

After the installation is complete, restart was the laptop / computer. Will be entered into the burg menu, please press the menu to change the theme, I think it was F2 (rather forget .... hehe).
