I share this to speed up Open Office:

1. Run Open Office, Open Office just open the Word Processor.
2. After that, click the menu "Tools"> "Options"
3. Then click on the "Memory" on the left, change the settings as shown below:

   - Number of steps : 30
   - Use for Open Office : 128
   - Memory per Object : 20
   - Number of Objects : 20 

4. Then click on the "Java" dimenu left, then uncheck the "Use a Java Runtime Environment", then click OK.
5. Restart Open Office, how? Noticeably faster right?
